The Next Month of Football is Crucial

This next month of football ahead of our tiger boys is crucial for our chances at playing finals football. If the boys are to be taken as a serious contender it starts this Sunday against Ganmain Grong Grong Matong Lions at Robo who have only lost one game so far and have a young list much like ourselves. The following weeks we play Narrandera, Coolamon & Turvey all of which are in the top 5 and playing good football. We are still yet to regain the services of our fearless captain Tom Power back yet but from all reports he isn't to far off, along with Daniel Davey and Chris Drum who have had to sit the last 2-3 weeks out with injuries. Not to say that the blokes that have stepped in haven't done the job cause I think the boys fighting spirit is alive and well and if we can play the football we know we can play consistently then we are going to go a long way this year, at least give ourselves a shot at the finals, then its anyone's game. So bring your mothers down this week to enjoy some good mothers day football.

More will come to mind as the year goes on, but so far the people that went to the Jumper Club said it was a great night had by all and the players certainly enjoyed their Jumper Presentation Night last Friday, now all that is left is to get into the business of playing good football.
