Football News The last game of the home and away season saw us travel out to Ganmain with some mixed results. The 17’s started the day in style having a very comfortable win against the young Lions. The boys certainly kicked straight 25.9-159 to 4.4-28. Our best Taylor Bentley, Ted Fellows, Angus Durnan, Zac Graham, Macauley O’Malley, John Buchanan. The boys finishing the year 5 games clear on top of the ladder to claim the minor premiership. The twos went down to a strong Ganmain side 8.3-51 to 12.15-87. Our best were Sam Gaynor, Jackson Oehm, Paul Battenally, Sam Parnell, Sam Ryan and Dave Glazier. The boys finished the home and away season in fifth place. The first grade game lived up to all expectations. We enjoyed a lead at every change albeit a narrow one only to go down in the last by 11 points, 12.9-81 to Ganmain 14.8-92. Josh Gaynor, Alex Van Ruiswyk, Pat Noonan, Pat Delaney and Ryan Miller were judged our best for the day. Good luck to all footballers and netballers in their respective finals matches. Don’t Forget.
